Most numbers were not able to be either met or measured. This was a double batch and the mashtun is simply much to small.
Heated 15 gallons and treated with 1 campden tab
Added 1 gallon to preheat @ 150
Added 7 galoons to mashtun @ 175
Temp after 2 minutes - 169
Dough in @ 167
Temp after proper stirring - Have no fucking clue. The top was around 141 but this measurement is crap. Last time using this mash tun for double batches. Simple as that.
Ran out of cascade and substituted 1 oz of cascade with 1.5oz perle.
FG: 1.071 - This is after 15 gallons were extracted, and the extra gallon added after half boil.
Fermented @ 65

Healthy roastiness. Prober levels of coffee and chocolate notes. Slightly colored head. The honey malt is shy and not at all overpowering and/or too much. Initially very thin aftertaste but that corrected itself after a week or so. Very good recipe as is, but instead of Cascade, maybe a more flowery hop in the same ABU range, possibly slightly lower.
