an All Grain American IPA by jotting
Recipe does not conform to the American IPA style.
Mash at 153 for 60 mins.
DME: add it near end of the boil, just enough to bring to 1.080
"Keg or bottle this and let it sit for a few months before drinking it. I sampled it a week or two after putting it on CO2 and it was overwhelming; there was a lot of character from the hop and rye flavors but they were very distinct from each other. I was going to dump it but I got busy with other stuff and forgot about it for a few months. When I finally got time to dump it, the flavors had rounded off a lot and sort of melded together. It turned out to be one of the better brews I’ve done. Good thing I sampled it again before dumping it."
