first 10 gallon batch on 3 v system 167 was way too high. This is only a 1.050 beer. fermenting with a wort rehydration. the US05 should chew through this batch in short order. probably be bottling in 2 weeks and enjoying in 3.
MAs brother Rob joined us for part of the brew day. MA had to leave early for family stuff.

We did not aerate this one further. we all felt like it was fine after transfer and mixing.

I think we are all in agreement that this is almost perfect. Needs to be just a shade or two darker, and the hops are so bright shiny and vibrant that it needs some more bittering balance. We are therefore adding a 30 minute addition of chinook and bumping the c60 up to a c80. But well probably cap the mash with it to better controll the color.
