April 1st - starts sweet, followed with roast bitterness from grains and heavily roasted coffee. Lingering taste of 454 Horsepower coffee. Should up the oats to make the beer a little thicker and smoother.
April 15 - carbonated, sweetness has mellowed, roast coffee character full. The malt sweetness lends a nice balance to the coffee roast. Initially sweet but definitely on the bitter side of things. A little thin, but not disappointingly so.
May 15 - Coffee bitterness has almost gone, although the taste still hints at its presence. Now leans towards sweet, rather than bitter.
